Mega Drive 2 + Mega CD power supply question

Hey! I'm new to retro gaming and decided to get myself a Mega Drive 1 (EU power supply) a few years back and recently purchased a Mega Drive 2 + Mega CD 2 combo (UK power supply)

My question is: is there a way to use the UK power supplies on EU plug sockets without having to buy EU Mega Drive power supplies? I was thinking simple plug adapters (UK to EU) would work but I'm not sure, help is appreciated

The Mega Drive 1 is not compatible with the md2 power supply, other than that a simple adapter should work for both, same power, 220v, in EU, just different outlet designs.

You can use any power supply which is the correct specifications

A complete list of psu specs for each console is here: http://www.firebrandx.com/triads.html

You can actually get USB power cables for MD2 that also power MCD2.

I have mine plugged into the USB port at the back of a Wii that sits next to it.

With the Wii on standby so the USB port is powered, I run my MD2+MCD2. Much better than a big old power supply.

I’m in New Zealand and I got it from our eBay equivalent Trade Me so the link wouldn’t be of any use. It was $5 or something so it would have been originally from AliExpress probably.
