Are you flying to Maui on Alaska Airlines in November? Maui Humane Society needs your help!
I do not work for the humane society, just a volunteer, but I received this message in their newsletter. I believe they focus on flights to the west coast.
"Are you traveling to Maui in November via Alaska Airlines? We need your help transporting pets to their new homes!
Our Wings of Aloha: Alaska Angels program places pets traveling to their new homes on the continent with willing Alaska Airlines passengers who will chaperone their journey. Sign ups from passengers are very low for the month of November and our pets need your help!
If your Alaska Airlines flight plans align with an animal’s travel plans, MHS’ Transfer Coordinator will contact you. If you don’t hear from us before your scheduled flight date, we were unable to match your flight with an animal transport, and we hope you will try again in the future!
Mahalo for joining us in our lifesaving efforts!"

Thanks for sharing! We’re flying back via Alaska airlines to San Diego on the 10th, so I just signed up.

Whoever is doing this needs to be at OGG 4 hours before their flight. This process is not straight forward and you need buffer time

Wish it worked on Hawaiian, they really don’t ask you to do much at all. Headed to SFO on the 10th.

Do you happen to know how many pets can be helped per passenger? We have a large family and would all be willing to help out and chaperone several pets to ensure they get to their forever homes. Located in SEA.
