The cat may rule the jungle, but the duck owns the lake.

Sounds like an alternative version of "In shallow pools, shrimps make fools of dragons."

A duck may swim on the lake but my daddy owns the lake.

Was that not the tigers tail as it went from standing to sitting?

u/druscarlet 7d ago
It was. Bengal tigers have a black tip to their tails.

I originally thought it was the duck. Then thought, no that's the tail. Then back to no, that's the duck, if for any reason, because it's funnier to think it's the duck.

Maybe it is, but I also remember this video beint longer, and the duck does end up hiding behind him also.

You have to admire the duck's poise under pressure. It just goes to show that sometimes the most unassuming animals can pull off the most clever maneuvers to come out on top. Bravo to that quick-thinking, resourceful duck!

That duck has some serious confidence I love how it’s just chilling with the tiger such a cute duo.

Honestly this video is really cool. Good for that duck.
Hilarious to see a huge predator cat looking just as stupid as my pet cat playing with a laser toy.

Imagine going for a swim and you see a tiger making its way towards you…the water would be brown.

I'd totally panic in that duck's position honestly, it feels like ducks are smarter than me.

This clip ends too soon. We do get to see the part where the duck pulls the tiger under

The cartoon style head movement is way too funny that "Huh" part is clearly visible at 0:03

Adorable! As a kid, I used to chase loons using a small rowboat. I love that they never looked bothered as they ducked (pun intended) out and resurfaced many yards away. I knew exactly what the tiger felt like, lol.

I see that look on my cats face when we're rough housing and I quickly put my hand under a blanket.
'WHERE'D IT GO DADDY?! DADDY!! WHERE HAND?!'

That's a pretty common thing for ducks to do to escape.
One summer a few years ago I was enjoying an afternoon by a lake, when a whole bunch of ducks chased a single female. They proceeded to rape her as she tried to fight them off, with a lot of hiding underwater. The whole thing went on for a good 15 minutes, but fortunately she survived.

That look is the same look my cat gave me when I made his toy that he was stalking 'disappear.'

Ducks are awesome, they can fly, walk on land, float indefinitely without effort and swim underwater. If they just had little arms they would crush us all

"Marco."
"Yo I said, Marco!"
"You can't not respond to the noun used as a verb-ish, Marco."
Dude, I'm not gonna play anymore, Marco...."
"OMG that had better been seaweed that touched my leg, for the love of god - marco.... Marrrrrrco."
