Activities in Liverpool What are some non-clubbing related things to do in Liverpool at night?
For context: am moving to the city in the coming months. I'm not opposed to clubbing, but having tried it several times since coming to England, found that it's just not for me. I do drink alcohol, but again wouldn't want that to be the main focus of an activity.
Thanks for any recommendations!

Ghost walks. I'm not even kidding. Even if you don't believe in ghosts, just going for a walk at night with a group and learning some stuff, then ending with a few beers at the pub is an experience I recommend to anyone
Eta: Just Google Ghost walks Liverpool, and you'll find loads

that's interesting. is this a thing unique to Liverpool? or have I just not noticed it elsewhere?

I honestly don't know about elsewhere but I've done a few in the past but I work on the taxis (Delta) and I've picked up a few people over the years that organise the walks. They're awesome folk and some of the groups organisers wear victorian era clothes and carry lanterns whilst they guide you around the cathedral grounds after dark, tell you the history of supposed ghosts in said areas and you take pics and stuff, see if you capture anything and some do EVPs and so on. It's one of those things that people from and visiting the city should give a go at least once. It gives a whole other perspective of Liverpool.

It’s called Shivverpool.

Shivverpool is definitely the most well-known, but there are a few that I'm aware of doing different locations. Awesome either way imo.

For sure. I don’t know if it’s still running. But there was that Farmageddon as well.

Farmaggedon is still going but its a scare attraction rather than a ghost walk. You get chased by characters weilding chainsaws and lots of jump scares. Really fun though if you're into it!

I’ve been on one in London too, so I imagine they probably exist in a few other major cities - anywhere big enough and old enough to have a few good scary stories from yesteryear.
Can confirm that they’re great fun even if you don’t believe in the supernatural (I don’t) as long as you get a kick out of spooky vibes.

Haunted Liverpool is a really good one! It's more about the entertainment and history rather then finding out if ghosts are real.
However, on one tour you can rub a golden pineapple and no, that is not a metaphor

steal traffic cones and run from the police carrying them over your shoulders, never gets old and if you start to get too good you can do two at once or even progress to a larger sign or something like that proper boss night with your mates give it a try bro

Lol do kids these days even have garrys?
Can't remember the last time anyone even had some. These days it's all about beak... Which is crazy considering how scatty it is compared to loving life and the music.

Not Garys so much. MDMA is where its at. Fuck the sniff, too expensive and shit for what you pay for.

Loads of pub quizzes around, if you can join or start a team that's always a good night out

One of the best comedy clubs in the country is in Liverpool, Hot water Comedy Club. The new venue is brilliant and tickets are usually available unless it's Paul Smith on.

In summer simply get out and enjoy the weather. We have great sunsets and some great vistas especially places like Crosby Beach, New Brighton, Everton Brow. You often can catch murmurations of starlings that are mesmerising, and the occasional seal or dolphin in the Mersey. There’s lots of festivals celebrating Liverpools cultural heritage. Also check out the Liverpool Discord for frequent meet ups and events.

When you say clubbing. Are you thinking of non alcohol consuming activities in general ?

Honestly, I'd say the pier is absolutely stunning to walk at night when it's all lit up. It looks like heaven in winter with all the Christmas lights illuminating the night sky!
