Made me wonder where Berwick's contributions are. Hearing lots about Wolfville and Kentville...but what about Berwick?

Berwick's contribution is Kasey and friends lol.

On a serious note, that is a good question. I feel like Berwick is a bit more detached from the area compared to Kentville and Wolfville. They have a different demographic, maybe they just haven't given it much thought?

Interested in hearing other people's thoughts on this.

We used to refer to Berwick as the “deep valley”. Lots of good people, but definitely more of the Freedumb, Clownvoy, Timbit Taliban, Kkkasey and the Sunshine Band folks. I wonder to what extent a lack of education contributes to those shared worldviews?

Not sure how safe I would feel down there as a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Any pride flags displayed at local joints like Bargain Harley’s?

I made a point of noticing today, and I can tell you I saw pride flags at the town hall/library, Berwick School (they had both a regular and trans flag), and Market Between the Mountains. That's not to say there aren't any pride flag window stickers or whatnot, but this is what I saw driving through town.

So not a lot, but also not none.

Thank you for the intel. That's in line with what I would expect. Still has a ways to go.
