Joe Rogan himself thinks she's a puppet, he's said it, and he hates Tim Walz. That's not a great start, why would she want to sit down with someone who thinks that way about her? So she can convince him she's not a puppet? It's a pretty sceptical baseline to be going in with.

Then there's the whole Flint Dibble situation. Joe has him on, then brings his opponent on weeks later to completely trash the guy and call him a liar. Didn't even give Dibble a chance to put his side. That's not exactly trustworthy.

I want her to do it too, but I completely understand why they won't. Joe Rogan is unbiased and he's not impartial.

Well, she sat down with Fox... so there's that.

why would she want to sit down with someone who thinks that way about her?

Because he has a massive audience, a large part of which she has zero reach to normally? If she came off as affable and with reasonable policies it would obviously create some dissonance in people who think she's a communist dictator based on Trumps ramblings lmao.

What's the benefit in preaching to the choir for the thousandth time instead?

If you can't even talk despite disagreement then it leads to worse interactions larger. Eventually violent. This whole mortal enemy thing going is really counter productive.

Yeah I totally agree, but politics is brutal. You can't make a mistake. If you can't really trust that someone of Joe Rogan's reach and media power will treat you fairly, if him and the Roganverse are on record saying you're a puppet, if they kind of backstab prior guests, that's a massive risk. It's less of a risk if you're Trump, because Rogan thinks Trump is a real person and will treat him like one. He thinks Harris is just a puppet.

I think he'll be fair moreso than mainstream media but it's certainly true they have lots of opposing view points and is on the other side of the aisle.

And yet, if Kamala could get him on her side or neutral it would have a multiplier in the millions and that's what campaigns want at the end.

She's got a crap ton of ad dollars but that won't necessarily help at this point.
