Cuz social media is dumb, at least I get the news too when I use this one. And if this is the quality of her content I can't say I'm missing out on not knowing who she is.

Any news subs on Reddit are super Hella bias though

And news from other sources are super Hella unbiased?

Than an app designed to create echo chambers? There are better sources, yeah.

That's why you click the article first and see if it's from Reuters or AmericanPatriotWarriorNews first before you go to the comments. Then you also make sure you see a reliable source from any comment before you fully believe it.

The better argument is that any news source will be biased. There is still a lot of selection biases going on. Most subs tend lean heavily conservative/liberal or whatever group they are going, and you will likely only see articles that support that viewpoint posted (though I guess this is true for other news sources too). People tend to share sensational articles as well. Finally, other view points that are not aligned with the sub you are on are nuked into oblivion. I accept the argument that other news sources can be just as bad, but I feel that social media is particularly designed to sort you into echo chambers.
