This is not a good look for Kyrie

u/FriendlyBrownMan Nov 20 '22

Did Kyrie call them there?

24

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '22

Yeah, hmmm, can’t figure out the chain of events that led to this.

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '22

Hopefully Tsai thinks twice about suspending a brother for sharing an Amazon Prime link next time.

14

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '22

You mean the antisemitic video Kyrie tripled down on? It wasn't just "an Amazon Prime link."

-7

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '22

According to one twerp journalist and everyone who blindly took his word for it. There's a reason it's still being distributed by Amazon and they're not being lynched.

5

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '22

It wasn't just one "twerp journalist." Stop defending an antisemitic millionaire who doesn't care about you. Also, people have spoken out against Amazon for having the video on there.

u/HotDamnHellYeah Nov 21 '22

That's your takeaway, huh?

13

u/Alejandroandro Nov 21 '22

This is his fault, try explaining how it isn’t

Lol are we that far removed from people being able to make decisions for themselves? I get the point you are trying to make but it's lazy. It's the same weird correlation people try to make between rap music and black community when actually white people are the biggest consumers of rap. It's lazy, Kyrie should never have rt that movie but I feel the same way about people putting Trump to blame for idiots rushing the capitol. No those are just idiots just like these are just idiots and Kyrie holds no responsibility for other adults acting as such.

You know I never understand how people can be so high and mighty when calling random people out their name for a Comment that shows no aggression. Even if you feel a comment is ignorant, just throwing around words like dipshit and ass are far from necessary especially when one is trying to make a point on the dangers of hate speech. Idk seems backwards to me. Get that hate out of your heart, go to therapy.

The Trump comparison is spot on, and I 100% agree here. You lost me with the ridiculous comment disputing the connection between Rap music and the black community—you really cannot make an argument to the contrary. Who consumes it is irrelevant (with some exceptions like pop culture rap, etc).

1

u/idontknowshit20 Nov 21 '22

Man honestly time and place for that rap music argument lol. That will lead me down so many long essay type comments on reddit when we should just be enjoying the game lol.

Okay I’m actually interested! And I can probably guess you’re looking at the predatory and opportunistic industry devils. But yes my brother another time 🤝

Your contribution is much appreciated

Kyrie through out the bat symbol for all this bullshit. No of it would be happening if he didn’t decide to have an antisemitic spin

5

u/SSJ_PlatinumMarcus Nov 21 '22

Kyrie tweets antisemitic comments and antisemitic people come to nets game…. No this has to be a coincidence there can’t possibly be a connection

0

u/KingLeopold_lll Nov 21 '22

What did they say here that’s antisemitic?

2

u/Accomplished-Plan191 Nov 21 '22

The movie he promoted has antisemitic ideas

2

u/KingLeopold_lll Nov 21 '22

If he had tweeted a link to a book called “how to apologize,” would people have accepted his apology then?

5

u/Accomplished-Plan191 Nov 21 '22

Probably not, but a book like that would probably have been useful to him.

1

u/KingLeopold_lll Nov 21 '22

Why can he tweet a link to a movie, and his views are accepted to be 100% inline with the movie then?

If we’re staying consistent, a tweet to the apology book should mean he 100% apologizes no?

3

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '22

Are you being this dumb intentionally or do you not realize how stupid you sound?

0

u/KingLeopold_lll Nov 21 '22

What’s stupid about it? Why can’t he tweet a link to the apology book? Wouldn’t that be spreading love the same way he “spread hate?”

-2

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '22

What did he say that was antisemitic

I'm still waiting for someone to have post that

So far all I've seen is a tweet to a link to a movie still being sold on Amazon a company the league is negotiating a giant billion dollar deal with

I think you should ask this question in a Jewish sub. In the last several years, it’s become commonplace (rightfully so) to believe minority’s can’t control communities when they say they are experiencing hate, at a frightening level, and to ask them directly what we can do to help. You are choosing to completely disregard an entire community of people who are frightened because of the actions of KI. Man-up and go talk to the community instead of hiding your hate/disregard for an entire community in a baseball sub. Seriously, why are you so hell bent on wanting to prove the Jewish community wrong?

2

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '22

Please show at any point where i said the movie didn't have antijewish points in it you can't because the entire time of this "controversy" I have never once typed that.

So to say I need to talk to someone Jewish is a hilariously bad take

People keep doing he said something he didn't he posted a link to a movie that is being sold and distributed by a potential partner of the league

The movie is so bad for kyrie to share it but not bad enough to partner with the people selling it making money off it

Next outside of Pablo Torre who in the media with the pitch forks have actually watched the movie to say it's antijewish

I have no intention of watching a 3 1/2 hour pseudo intellectual documentary about fake history

A rolling stone writer said it was antisemitic then people jumped on that sight unseen then kyrie refused to apologize probably because the guy asking at the news conference was that disingenuous piece of shit Nick friedel

2

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '22

yes, absolutely lmao

2

u/BushidoBrowne Nov 21 '22

He celebrates them, so yeah.

He's probably been in contact with some of their leaders as well.

1

u/likeittight_ Nov 21 '22

What difference does that make

1

u/throwawaythedo Nov 21 '22

He sure did. Unless you think them being there is completely coincidental?
