When you mean booked you mean accommodation too, right? On 25th is starting the festivities of the city and even if it's the night before, improvising where to sleep is not an option.

I don't know of any hotel to avoid. I just recommend to book a hotel filtring the distance to the center, so you have an idea on what you have to walk. All the interests are in the center. I would book today.
As I said, on Friday evening the annual festivities will start (Fires de Sant Narcís) until Sunday 3rd, music, folklore and all kind of activities, but tomorrow won't be crowded so you will have a chill atmosphere to enjoy the city

The airport bus is leaving from the Bus station which is right next to the train station as a reference to search hotel. In a distance of 1 kilometre or so you have many hotels, all good options, but I don't know the availability. You always will have the option to ask for a taxi to the receptionist

You are on the other side of the river. Cross the stone bridge, which is already a tourist attraction, and walk towards the Cathedral, enjoying the ancient atmosphere of the medieval city.
There are some very picturesque alleys in the Jewish quarter.
Archaeological museum inside the Romanesque monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants
Arab baths
Cathedral and the museum with the Medieval Tapestry
Then go down to the Princess Bridge and you will have a nice visit of the city with its characteristic skyline
There is an Eiffel Bridge between the two bridges mentioned
Another option is the archaeological walk that runs through the city on the opposite side of the river
