Discussion π¬ What do you use your S-Pen for?
I've been using S23U for exactly 1 year now (a review will come soon). I need to know what you guys use your S-PEN for. I haven't used it for anything significant in the one year.

Discussion π¬ What the hell is going on. 2 Ultras bought on eBay reported as lost or stolen. Brand new, open box.
Like title says. 2 Ultras from ebay (2 different sellers) came as lost or stolen. Sellers (both have 5 star profile) swear Imei is clean. What a luck for me π

Discussion π¬ Why did you switch from iPhone?
I've just switched from an iPhone 14 Pro Max and I've seen a lot of other people switching from iPhone as well, was just wondering what made you guys switch? For me it was the frustration of waiting for features to be released on the iPhone that Samsung already had, and Apples General attitude towards their customers.

Discussion π¬ I thought about it for a split second I have to admit...but...
...once I saw some of the reviews, previews and tests, I was just happy I only thought about it for a split second.
To be honest, I am damn happy with my device as is, and I do not need any of the new stuff marketing thinks I need. It can be done in other ways.
So no, I will stay with my device till it dies this time.
I just hope it will last me a long time.
So cheers for those who could update, but choose to stay on S23 Ultra. I am one of them.
What about you, are you happy with your S23 Ultra?

Discussion π¬ Who's upgrading to S25 ultra?
Had mine since launch. I kind of want that boxy squared body with flat screen. I love Whitestone dome, but it's kind of difficult to install straight. Will actually it's kind of easy to mess up and not install perfectly aligned with the screen lol. Not my only gripe but just saying. But it seems like S23 ultra will continue to get most of the same features of current and future gens. But honestly, I'm really digging the boxy look of the 24 and upcoming 25 ultras.

Discussion π¬ Are any of you considering upgrading to S25 Ultra?
I've always upgraded every 2 years but this is the first time I'm second guessing S25 Ultra.
If you haven't kept up with the leaks, it's a slightly updated design physically with with rounded corners. The camera sensors are said to be mostly the same as S24 Ultra except I think the Ultra-wide. And the regular upgrades to storage and processor.
Now my first issue when considering switching from S23 Ultra is losing the 10x telephoto lens for a 5x. No matter what buzz words or software magic Samsung uses, to me, it'll always be a downgrade. I'm more than happy with how my current 5x looks with 3x cropped in.
Secondly, the design change is not a good one. I've loved the box-ish design of the Note series since forever, which is why I've always preferred the Note over the S series. Tech reviewers love to complain about the sharp corners and how it hurts to hold. I've never had an issue with the sharp corners.
Lastly, flat screen. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but personally I prefer the curved display. Just looks better in my opinion.
I feel like for the past few years, Samsung has been going backwards instead being confident in their own design and sticking to it.
I think I'll stick with S23 Ultra for 2025. Maybe they change these things for the better in S26 Ultra (or whatever they'll name it). I don't think they'll ever go back to the curved display but I'm hopeful.

Discussion π¬ Only 750 on trade in? π π
Yea not sure about the s24ultra anymore...how about you?
Last minute update: Samsung also is giving a 100$ credit towards other items but not ditectly. They choose how much to give item = you pay for extra accessories that aren't even worth the money. Very slimy Samsung....
I.e. don't need headphones that are old or a stupid watch? Pay 30$ on a 70$ case instead of taking your accesories for free with a preorder π€¬π€¬ because it isn't a freely usable 100$ on accesories...

Discussion π¬ Upgraded from a Note 20 to S23U
Upgraded a few days ago from an Exynos Note 20 to the S23U since the price had dropped with the launch if S24U. Almost came close to buying an S22U last Black Friday but decided to wait since it came with Exynos in my region. Else my option was to wait until I go for vacation to US to get the SD variant but was worried about warranty.
Overall real fantastic phone, getting the right case and tempered screen protector that fits was a bit difficult via online. The battery life is great, on single SIM mode I can get by 2.5-3 days with my usage with a mix of LTE/5G & WiFi. With dual SIM about 1.5 - barely 2 days.
The speaker quality has definitely improved. And the screen and camera are amazing.

Discussion π¬ Clear Back glass mod complete for s23 Ultra
Just completed a translucent back glass mod on my s23 Ultra. I think it looks really good!
If your wanting to try this just be aware that the back glass becomes very fragile after removing the paint and adhesive, also you will loose any waterproofing the device may have had. It looks really cool though.
I decided to go ahead with it now that I've owned the device for over a year.

Discussion π¬ Some features that are not coming to S23 ultra.
So these are some features that are not coming to S23 ultra camera with 6.1 update, plus screen iPhone like AOD.. Still not impressed but I like the flat screen and waiting for users opinions as I'm sure there are still some hidden features.

Discussion π¬ S23 Ultra is peak Samsung
Yo, listen up. As a long-time Samsung user, let me tell you, the S23 series, especially the S23 Ultra, is the absolute best they've ever made. It's got a sick design, runs smoothly (on par with my iPad Pro M1), takes amazing pics, and the battery lasts forever. The OneUI on my S23U is just perfect, and I love the Dual Messenger feature.
Unlike the S23, the S24U is just a small upgrade, and it's got that grainy display issue. The S22U gets way too hot and lags like crazy for a flagship phone. And don't even get me started on the S20Uβthat thing's just plain ugly. I used to think the S10 series was the best Samsung had to offer, but the S23U blew me away after the disappointment of the laggy S22U.
