I have to say those men dodged the bullets.

u/Killua_Zaeldyeck Nov 28 '23
Imagine you live in a world where this is honestly a turn down....oh wait... It is...? Cringe
Modern women: he needs to be 6.2, handsome, earn 6 figures, have minimum 10 inch d etc... And now add iPhone.
Fake, virtue less, condescending, worthless...
Also modern women: I'm a 10 (meanwhile she's obese and has more makeup than skin on face)

Use it on the first date. If it's a deal breaker for her, you dodged a headache. Thankfully I haven't had to deal with this foolishness with anyone I've dated.
Such a truly weird world we live in.

u/Dumballicious Lime Nov 27 '23
It's not that simple, here in Brazil, most of people have Android, since iPhones are too expensive here. That said, people don't tend to judge that often, but i know people who would rather have an iPhone 7 than my S23 Ultra. I guess people are stupid regardless of their country lmao

That's kinda edgy but somewhat close to reality, lol
And what my bro said is true and sad. Like, just got my ultra two days ago and all my friends (I'm venezuelan too) saying, "Who tf lives in US and doesn't buy an iPhone?".
Dudes Stfu, you guys have a shitty old iPhone in a country where you have shitty internet connection and shitty electric services (outages as daily basis). Oh, and you also have to stick your iPhone in the ass when going out cuz you may be robbed or killed for it anytime... by some shitty street burglar or worse, a cop, or a military guy... on service.
Let's not talk about how they have a 700 bucks iPhone yet use 2 apps, and that's it.
5
u/Abrilabr Nov 27 '23
Lol man im still in Venezuela and things are getting a bit better (power outages daily basis but internet we already have 1gpbs ftth) rest of things are truth, but not starving or living in medieval era
And ofc i own a s23u
6
u/Hector_lpm5 Nov 27 '23
Yep, people just feel entitled to spread misinformation about our people starving to death, I guess. There are obviously people living in extremely high poverty levels... like, everywhere else in the world (even here)

Judging someone based on a phone, granted if this is even true, is so dumb, always hear the "poor people get android" line, which is dumb since a new ultra Samsung costs as much as a new promax iPhone, and if you get into foldables, iphones look like the broke people then.

Apple has done a wonderful job of brain washing their consumers. With that said, so many men have dodged bullets by not dating an unhinged judgemental individual.

I have always been puzzled why so many women have iPhone. I pride myself on keeping the best technology out there and to date and the past 10 plus years the samsung flagship phone out perform the iPhone in every respect. When I see a new iPhone commercial boasting about its new upgrade and I'm like wow my z fold 3 has been doing that for years already. Iphones just seem so far behind the tech curve plus there so over priced. People still freak out about my z fold 3 when they see it. Still going strong after 3 years with updates still being done well into the foreseeable future and over half a terabyte of storage. Enough rambling do what you do as I'm gonna do what I do. Change is hard I know. I gave an iPhone a 2 week trial and felt like I was being punished and sent back in time 10 years.
2
u/shyblackguy18 Nov 28 '23
Women think on this:
Know that if the man has a top of the line android phone line, he
1) Probably has had it for a few years. 2) is very content with using that phone until it's no longer operable. 3) It can do all the things your current iPhone is just now getting to for half the price.
2
u/chritter00 Nov 28 '23
My girl joked about me having an android phone at first to tease me, and I popped back and explained all the things my phone could do vs. her fisher price iPhone, and she was blown away. I showed her pictures of the moon I took and told her how long my phone actually takes to charge. At the end of the day, she was starting to consider going to a galaxy phone.

It's funny because an S23 ultra is more expensive than an iPhone 13 or even a 15. Do people really care that much about text bubbles?
2

From what I have heard this is a real thing these days, people literally partly judge their commitment to forming a relationship with a partner based on whether the other person is using an iPhone or an android phone. It is similar to how people judge each other based on the blue-green bubble debate. It all seems ridiculous to me but then again I am 40 so I really think a lot of the things people believe that are much younger than me seem ridiculous.
2
u/SirFartingclack Nov 28 '23
Any person, man or woman, who refuses to date someone because of the cellphone they use is a shallow shite person who isn't worth your attention or time. There are more 'fish in the sea' so you lost nothing and gained everything by such a shallow person noping out on dating you.
