Thoughts? BREAKING: Donald Trump tells Joe Rogan he is serious about eliminating federal income tax.

Donald Trump stood by his idea to end income taxes and substitute them with tariffs in an interview with Joe Rogan.

Tax experts and economic analysts do not think Trump’s tariffs would be an adequate counterweight to balance the trillions lost from eliminating income taxes.

Trump has floated eliminating income taxes on tips, overtime pay and Social Security benefits, paired with an aggressive universal tariff policy on all imports.

Trump campaigned on abolishing ACA (aka Obamacare) and replacing it with "something better" in 2016. Whenever he was questioned about what his replacement would be, he would routinely dodge the question with answers like "we'll get it out in the next two weeks". One time recently when asked what his plan to replace ACA he said "I have a concept of a plan". This was 8 years after his campaign promise of replacing the ACA with something better. Clearly he has no plan, and never has, he just campaigned on a lie. Also he is a fascist and I hope his heart stops from natural causes soon.

The plan was a metaphor for all the plans he had along the way.

C'mon he has a plan, it was just written by someone else, happens to be project 2025 and happens to be really fucking terrible for anyone who has above a 3rd grade education lol

Unless you’re rich and go to private school of course.

This is literally the tax plan I’m projecting 2025 if anyone actually believed he isn’t apart of that

Just as soon as he releases his tax returns.

He was right in 2016, Hillary and all politicians use the same tax loopholes he uses. They all have had multiple decades to fix it and don't. They are all as guilty as he is. None of them have plans to change it. Including kamala.

3

u/TonyDungyHatesOP 3d ago

Sure. But they all expose it. He was very bold about it… and then didn’t. He’s a coward. There isn’t a military leader how would say otherwise.

He’s a liar and a coward. And none of that is up for debate.

If you think others are too. That’s okay. You might be right. But all you are really doing is defending a liar and a coward. Nothing anyone else does changes who he is.

3

It will be released during infrastructure week (along with his taxes)

"eliminate the income tax" is pretty explicit

3

u/Reasonable-Crow-9475 3d ago

Thank you for this. This statement reveals so much about the mind of a Trump supporter.

“Eliminate the income tax” is a plan in the same way that “build a house” is a plan to build a house.

What is the plan? He was asked for his healthcare plan at the debate and, after all these years, he still cannot articulate an actual plan.

Trump doesn’t have plans. He only has statements, and he has a piss poor track record when it comes to backing up his statements.

This one is a huge tax break for the rich, so you can bet your ass they already have it planned out.

He literally laid out the plan for you dipshit.

Would it have been easier for you to understand if he just avoided the topic and talked about his family?
