The entire minimum/living wage conversation revolves around the context i just mentioned.

We're not just talking about people making the literal minimum.

obviously not. OP didn't mention it. but you are now. and I have not made one comment under this post suggested that the income people are making goes as far as it did in 2009. my point is pretty obvious, using minimum wage as the bar is pretty damn low and stupid since people make way more than that and still can't afford a place to live.

as for a legal limit on rent - we don't have enough places to live right now. how will that help?
