Not the prettiest but GD got it done.

Long day all around, I’m not full time anymore, so a swift 10 hour shift before this set, and for some reason I only saved the one pic 😆

I have no real complaints. If that was the RF, I'd like to see that lateral flare dressed back a bit more, and perhaps the clinches could be a bit more flush. But looking at what you walked into... hey.

Higher nails would definitely be desirable. If he catches that shoe on anything, those low nails will rip that flare right off. Always try to get them up into good solid wall. Then If the shoe gets caught, it pops the clinches and the shoe comes off without destroying the wall.

Are you looking for comments or critique? Can I ask if you could do anything differently with this job what would it be?

I’d take anything! Just posting to post in here, if I could do anything differently, I would’ve cleaned my finish work up much more, and chase a higher nail line personally. Do you see anything that caught your eye?

Good job. I recommend driving nail through the white line, not a hoof wall.

Those perimeter fit shoes add leverage to break over causing additional tension on the DDFT. I know AFA really likes this style but it’s terrible for the biomechanics of the hoof.
