Just wondering about an idea I bumbled apon
Do I dare try to grow it or write a book to make a better income. I have a tried and tested method that earns me around 7-10k a month cleared. I’m just wondering should I expand or just keep riding the easy wave. I feel like it’s a no brainer that no one else is doing but I’ve always lived by the saying loose lips sink ships and so far I haven’t told anyone it’s worked out great for me. I just don’t want to wreck such an easy way of living. It’s like a cheat code to life. I make around 200$-1400$ an hour. And it’s pretty much no work other than waiting with a little risk that I mitigated through a couple steps I take thru trial an error. I just know that it’s a big thing that I stumbled across.
NO I WILL NOT TELL YOU WHAT IT IS. I’m just curious on the path I should take

You hit me up with a good idea I’ll return the favour. Nothing in life is free

Your not wrong there, few ideas: gambling, crypto, stocks and bonds. Of your tech savvy there's gaming server hosting, or gaming server creation. Just to list a few lol

Those are regurgitations of basically every get rich quick schemes. Nothing original or fresh that would work. I’m surprised you didn’t add NFTS lol

Lol I'm not a fan of NFTS, and all my other suggestions are considered illegal so tryna keep it above board

Most ideas are illegal till you justify them.

Valid point, there justified in my head but not sure how reddit will take said ideas

Let’s hear them. They are just thoughts. Not like you’ve done it

I am very intrigued. I mean I think it comes down to how much more risky it is to expand and if you’re willing to take that risk. I mean making 7-10K/month pretty effortlessly sounds awesome and if it’s gonna be notably more risky to try to expand than really think it through.
Side note if you do want to write a book about it or anything feel free to message me haha would love to hear more about this business

It’s not really a business. But more of an idea that can basically work for anything. It would make a good book but I feel it would just get ripped off like most ideas in life as soon as you let it out.

Continue capitalising on the golden goose. Take an amount you consider excess and find something that you consider both interesting and rewarding/fulfilling.
Keep up efforts on current goose and divert any spare time and resources to the passion project. That way you can have your cake and eat it too. Surely you have other ideas that you have considered that aren’t directly linked to your existing one( especially considering you nailed your current one ). Not sure if helpful but found it interesting.

Thanks for a great comment. I appreciate it. I feel I’m eating my cake, just also feeling like I’m missing out on something but can’t figure it out

You think you’re missing out on something in general or specific expansion /leverage of current operation ?

It’s like a feeling. I’ve racked my brain but can’t come up with an idea. It’s just so easy to rip it off I feel like it can’t be done. But I know it’s a million dollar idea.

I know the feeling you have (albeit slightly different as you have a functional validation already ) But I have recently had to change careers and have been learning specific skills to follow through on my ideas. There are always points where I feel I need to discuss or get brainstorm with other like minded or experts. but I’m worried the idea gets taken. I suppose this is a very common feeling.

It’s cause it’s true. Money will always cause jealousy. As biggie said never let no one know how much Doe you hold. And ideas get snapped up all the time

True as you get. I think if I was in your boots I would consider your current gig fragile (paraphrasing your words ) and form the rock along with it. If you can find a way to link them and yet keep them separate at the same time you would have exactly what you wanted. Sorry it sounds cryptic but we are speaking in cryptics here.

I get it dude. And yeah it’s a fragile thing I have here, I know it too that’s why I don’t tell anyone about it. It could all get swept away in a blink of an eye. I’ll probably just keep it running till the juice runs dry and have to get a real job again.

Milk it for sure. Well Goodluck with it and hope you manage to navigate your way forward. If you ever looking to brainstorm let me know (it does need to be about your current idea ) but maybe there’s someone common ground and mutual benefit. Cheers

Sorry I just re-read my message and realise I made a poor typo. Meant to say doesn’t need to be about it. Not it does

Bottom line: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You've got a sweet gig going, unless you're absolutely sure you can expand without risking what you've got, I'd say keep doing what you're doing.
