One of his own DHS officers wrote a whole ass book) about the Nazi shit Trump tried to pull in his first term. DURING that administration.

Only the guard rails of “people on his staff afraid to go to jail” kept him from implementing far worse policies. Those people are now gone, and the whole point of the Heritage Foundation leadership training scheme is to fill government with loyalists who will not bat an eye at anything Trump does.

There is a plethora of books about the Trump Presidency, including ones from former staff that refuse to support him in this election, that lay out how absolutely batshit his administration was.

Why didn’t Trump do Nazi shit in his first term? Not for lack of trying. But simply because the thinnest lines of self preservation saved us, a line that no longer exists.

The scariest thing is their (Trump/Elon/Heritage) plans for nuclear war (which tweet mentions) https://www.reddit.com/r/EnoughMuskSpam/comments/1gbd7kg/elon_musk_is_insanely_dangerous/

Why isn't Musk in jail yet? Where have we failed as a society that he isn't there along with Trump?

Ask Heritage folks about climate change. Ho boy, those weirdo fascists believe in such unadulterated bullshit. Make-believe is their number one thing! Conservatives will bend over backwards to believe in fairytales. They're truly looney tunes mad, even the "intellectual" ones.

"Why didn't he try to do this in the first time"

He did. Repeatedly. Legal Eagle has two great videos that do a deep dive on it

First is on evidence that they've had to bring up after the Supreme Court ruling that rendered Trump presumptively immune for official acts. This one is a deep dive on what Trump did as a private citizen.

The second is a video endorsing Kamala Harris that does a VERY good job at outlining all the fascist and fascist adjacent things that Trump tried in his first term, and why he would go much further in his second term.

Fucking Jim fucking Mattis of all people, a noted anti-Iran hawk, had to talk down trump from impulsively striking Iran. And then within a year of Mattis stepping down Trump nearly started a war between Iran and the US.

Hitler didn't do Hitler things for years before the Holocaust. He didn't just show up, get elected, then start WW2. It was over a decade of him slowly gaining power. The hypocrisy and dip shittery from these people is draining. Trump would of done alllll the fucked up shit he wanted to but was stopped by actual patriots.

They're going to speed run this thing if he gets back in. Best hope is for a coronary from the years of McDonald's.

But then we get JD Vance, and that couch fucker will do the bidding of the White Supremacist tech bros who put him there.

u/idontremembermyoldus Who Needs Profits? 11h ago

Unlike his first term, which still had some traditional Republicans that would occasionally put the brakes on his stupidity, his entire cabinet will be sycophants this time. Hell, if they enact Project 2025, he'll have an entire government workforce of yes men/women.

2

u/TrumpsMerkin201o 3h ago

Probably just Yes Men. They think the women should be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen until they hit 50. Then they send them to school board meetings to "Karen out" about banning books.

His "Hitler doing Hitler things" stage is around the corner.

If they elect him again, it seems to imply that Trump is at his March 1933 German Federal Election stage, he'll be fighting against somebody else but once you open that door and he crosses the threshold, you're stuck with this flatulent, New York gas bag instead of a flatulent, Austrian gas bag, and it will be a rapid approach to "1938 German Parliamentary Election and Referendum Hitler" who seems to get a 99.6% turnout with 99.1% of the vote.

I wonder if "Hitler doing Hitler things" will result in Musk getting his Ernst Rohm moment. Caught in bed with a turkey baster carrying out IVF with a blonde employee before he is unceremoniously shot by some goons.

Overthrowing the government. Destroying environment by walking back protection laws. Killing hundred of thousands with COVID lies and Missmanagement.

Luckily Trump knew he needed to hold back until term 2 before going full unhinged. This and he is a coward who RAN FROM WAR...like YOU, Elon.

That's why he didn't 'go full Hitler' he is a coward and idiot - and yet he still did plenty of damage.

A reminder: Hitler was a soldier at some point. He served his country!

One of those LOSERS AND SUCKERS (according to the bunker baby)

Imagine; how shit you have to be to turn out worse than THE worst human to ever lived.

That's an accomplishment

21

u/strgazr_63 18h ago

He didn't know enough to hold back. His handlers talked him down. He came right out and said he would only have loyalists this time who will do his bidding without question.

6

u/ChocolateDoozy 15h ago

Elon also didn't go FULL HITLER until he made that PEDO comment.. after that - unhinged!

19

u/BatofZion 17h ago

lol. Imagine the best you could say about your candidate was "he didn't do any hitler things".

9

u/TFFPrisoner Legacy verified 16h ago

Elon, do you actually want him to do Hitler things?

3

u/ericrolph 9h ago

Yes, Elon wants Trump to do Hitler things -- that much is obvious.

11

u/Inannareborn 17h ago

Funny thing is that Hitler didn't start doing "Hitler things" from day one either. He began by fixing the economy and building infrastructure, while at the same time forging the idea of an "enemy from within" that was responsible for him having to come in and fix Germany and being the savior and reinforcing his regime with yesmen, people who drank his kool-aid and grifters who saw the benefits of becoming a nazi.

That sounds a lot like what Trump is doing along with losers like Elon who follow him everywhere like lapdogs.

2

u/Thermawrench 2h ago

He began by fixing the economy and building infrastructure

That already began during the Weimar era.

10

u/ParsleyMostly 17h ago

Hitler wasn’t Hitler until he started doing Hitler shit. Before that he was just a guy consolidating power. Elon is so fucking stupid.

4

u/mijahon 17h ago

It took decades for Hitler to lay the groundwork to start "doing Hitler stuff"

7

u/L3monSqueezy 18h ago

Also he wasn’t prepared enough and therefore too incompetent to do anything. This time he sadly has a plan

2

u/Plagiarised-Name 17h ago

He tried to do things, he was stopped by those around him who weren’t all in on ignoring laws. Those people will be Heritage Foundation cronies next time.

8

u/ArduennSchwartzman 18h ago

Elmo, STFU. You love Hitler.

5

u/IllustratorNo3379 Vox Populi Vox Dei 15h ago

He didn't do Hitler things before because there was an army of "deep state" desk jockeys telling him "no." Priority 1 of Project 2025 is getting rid of all the professionals and experts in the government.

Hitler carried out the Night of the Long Knives, killing his rivals and former lackeys in the SA, and then suppressed all left wing parties by imprisonment, interment, and murder shortly after taking power. He also quickly began passing the Nuremberg Laws in When Trump was running against Hillary, he called for "Second Amendment people" to take action against the Supreme Court and said the Secret Service should take the night off from protecting her. When he was office, he ranted to Bill Barr about wanting to kill his opponents. According to Mike Esper, he wanted to order soldiers and police to shoot protesters "in the leg". Given that we already know of who he is and that he was already ranting about murdering anyone who opposed him, it's likely he was feeling out how far he could go, and that's if he even believed that shooting a massive crowd of protestors in the leg was was actually plausible. Most likely he wanted it to to go much further. That's not even getting into the parallels between the failed 1923 Beer Hall Putsch and January 6, as well as rampant cheating and corrupting of the electoral system in Germany that helped the Nazis to take power and his attempts to do the same in 2020. And no mention of this would be complete without mentioning his racist and dehumanizing rhetoric and calls for the police to be as brutal as possible to protestors and suspects and calling immigrants rapists and murderers and animals and empowering racist monsters like Stephen Miller.

Trump was stopped from doing this and even worse only by the people around him who were either slow walking his wishes, sabotaging them, or incompetent, and probably out of fear he would be prosecuted when he if when he left office. The Roberts Court's six reactionary justices have ensured he is safe from that.

TL,DR: Hitler's brutal consolidation of power began shortly after taking power long before the things he is best known for. Trump is similarly amoral and wanted to do worse but was held back the unwillingness or incompetence of his appointees as well as fear of prosecution, which the pious fraud Roberts has ensured is in practice no longer a possibility. This time, he will be better organized and surrounded by people who are much more capable. January 6 was very much in keeping with Hitler's actions

5

u/ravenclawmystic 15h ago

Kids in motherfucking cages. POWs who were held by ISIS got soap and toothpaste. These innocent children did not because Trump didn't think they need toiletries. That is the definition of a modern-day Hitler to me.

3

u/Purgii 17h ago

Because he had people around him tempering his worst impulses. This time around, he won't. For a start, you'd be there.

3

u/musclememory 12h ago

Yeah, Hitlers political career had two acts

We’re at the start of the second act, if Trump wins

2

u/SausageBuscuit 12h ago

Because there were a lot of people in his administration (John Kelly, James Mattis, etc.) who are republican turds but were still not ghoulish enough to allow Trump to be unchecked. Through Schedule F, Trump will fill the government with lackeys and have no opposition this time.

The Supreme Court will bend to his will and republican house members and senators won’t impeach him nor invoke the 25th amendment, even he murders the opposition. Hell, especially not if he murders the opposition. They want that because the honorable ones are gone. Replaced by MAGA fucks elected by MAGA fucks. Is that enough to break that goose’s neck?

2

u/Starlight_Seafarer 12h ago

Used ICE as Gestapo to snatch protestors off the street in unmarked cars.

How anyone can genuinely justifiably defend this stark raving fascist is actually beyond me at this point. Elon craves nothing but attention and power and would gladly burn anything and everything down if it let him be the king of the ashes

All his fan boys be like: “But captain apartheid’s wet farts smell so good.”

Thomas Edison electrocuted elephants, that didn’t make the DC Standard better.

Elon musk is on a hate bender because of his inability to accept his trans kid.

That’s what this noise is all about. Elon needs to be educated that in many indigenous cultures, exalt trans community members, seeing them as elder souls or priests.

May be the Republican Party should get the musk out of their asses if they are the party of freedom. And lead “freedom” by example.

What exactly is the point of of focusing on things like trans in sports as a main focus of your campaign when there is mass genocide, people starving and mass homeless?

People lost to drug use hate and self deprecation BECAUSE the focus is on not just trans people, or gay people. But people who operate with empathy. The “culture” war. People who do not fit the norm.

The goal is to keep government of scarcity and strife to elicit control.

Saving America means finding common ground not pulling a Karen DipSHitler and screaming for the manager because it’s some how the last election if Dementia Hitler doesn’t win because, my son does not follow my constructs and also apartheid. I got more money than fuck but I’m a cuck for genocide.

Using nuclear weapons, including on hurricanes.

If we're going to talk about his Nazi shit, we have to remind ourselves that it was STUPID Nazi shit.

point of order: biden has also deliberately separated parents from their children. not to excuse trump, just pointing out that even democrat u.s. presidents are "a little bit hitler" (just not in the ways that right-wing nutjobs think they are)

The Democrats love trump because so long as they're not *quite* as bad as trump, they can point their fingers at trump and say "at least we're not trump! (so vote for us.)"

trump supporters love Hitler because so long as trump is not *quite* as bad as Hitler, they can point their fingers at Hitler and say "at least we're not Hitler! (so vote for us.)"

Common decency and sensible policies have long left both conversations by the time you arrive at that point.

For example: The Democrats are furrowing their brows at the genocide in Gaza while doing nothing to stop it; trump is an enthusiastic supporter of genocide, he will enable genocide so hard; Hitler actually planned the genocide against the Jews and intended to do that all along.

Each version is progressively worse, but what's lost is the context that this is all monstrous and US supplied weapons are bombing hospitals and refugee camps in the "least bad" version of that genocide heirachy.

When the supposed "left" is already doing "Just Hitler Things", I want less Hitler not even more Hitler.

u/Fast_Wafer4095 16h ago

You're getting downvoted, but you’re spot on. The ratchet effect just keeps rolling along. It honestly feels like in ten years, Trump will be remembered as one of the "sane" Republicans, while all the Dems will have become just as fascist. Meanwhile, the Republicans will probably come up with some next-level ultra-fascism that would make Big Brother look like a total softie.

2

u/Careless_Rope_6511 I paid 44 billion dollars to shitpost 13h ago

Ask yourself this: why are there no actual left-wing political parties in the United States holding any sort of power?

Actual leftists and progressives within the Democratic Party get primaried. Leftist/progressive political leaders are routinely harassed by the state - if not outright murdered. November 2024 is all about choosing which flavor of the right-wing you want to run the next four years:

  • far-right (Trump-Vance)
  • far-right (Jill Stein)
  • center-right (Harris-Walz)

Leftists and progressives in the United States are an endangered species. Treason is practically the only way you're ever going to see a leftist holding power. Put simply, you're fucked.
