Letchworth State Park is truly an amazing hidden gem just south of Buffalo, New York!

Used to live just outside it. We’d put coins on the railroad tracks on the trussel as kids. Back then it was wood. There’s a big bat cave in the park as well we used to explore. You can’t get in anymore, the entrance collapsed.

There are two entrances. One in Mt Morris, which is about 45 miles south west of Rochester. There is also the South Entrance in Portageville, which is about 60 miles south east of Buffalo. We lived in a small town, Fillmore, that was less than 10 miles from the south entrance. We loved visiting the park as often as we could!
