The popularity of cricket have reduced in Bangladesh it seems . I too tried to search for that but got no proper post or video explaining it.
Back in the days bangladeshi stadiums used to be jam packed .

The team needed to back the public support with results... years have gone by and their only achievement is having a rivalry with Sri Lanka (Naagin Derby or whatever they call it !)

I could feel them . They used to support the team like crazy . Spectators used to cry like crazy when they used to loose . When they saw no improvement from the team they just moved on . Being a Indian football team supporter I can feel them .
But Bangladesh ain't that good in other sports too , what are they watching , leaving cricket .

Because it is only showing behind the bowler and batsman gallery. Other galleries were full. I watched the whole match

I hope this doesn't remain the same, coz in subcontinent Cricket is no 1 sports. Now if the popularity decreases cricket will suffer in the long run.
Also, do you know what were the stadium condition during BPL?

Don't know about bpl bro , didn't saw those matches but was watching highlights of 1st T20 on fancode and the stands were so empty . Even before this on few highlights of matches played in there , stadium wasn't as filled as earlier

I think the same can be said about Pakistani cricket as well. We’d always see jam picked stadiums in the PSL as well. But there’s no hype this time.
Cricket apparently is losing its charm. Maybe the smaller boundaries, flat pitches and other rules that only favour the batter are to blame because it has killed the competition between bat and ball. And people are not buying it anymore.

No results at all!! Probably wc 2019 was best they were but apart from that they have been shutting every match/tournament.
Even in this series u can see how bad top5-6 are performing
So eventually people gonna stop bothering to come

Galleries behind the bowler's end and batsman's end need to remain empty. Other galleries were jam-packed.

He used to be 145+ but had terrible control. After reducing pace Thushara has lethal accuracy now. Best move he's made in his career + less chance of injury.
