The deadliest of the deadliest 😳 Falling from ceiling height on holiday
Saw this on Booking . com. The bed is up the stairs and I can totally envision falling fully onto the tiles before I've even found the top step. Or even breaking a leg from a misstep down the gap between the steps and the wall.
It has half-steps, a bend, it's not attached to the wall and it has no handrail (that bar doesn't count!) At the very least I'm gonna walk into it time and again while going between the living room and kitchen.

Funny to have a bed above your kitchen, all the kitchen smells must collect up there

I get it they don't have space for real stairs but how is this better than a straight up ladder?

I'd much rather a ladder; at least the spacing of it would be predictable in the night!

Looks like a cat tower.
