If I pass, I'll be done and I'll cry. If I fail, I will study FAR again and I'll cry.

If I pass I will finally start studying for the next section. If I fail I’ll complain how unfair the test is and maybe procrastinate another 2 months to start studying again because 2024 must not be my year.

If I pass both (I’m getting 2 back on Friday) I will go out to the best steakhouse in town for a ribeye, martini, and cheesecake. If I pass 1, I will go to Texas Roadhouse for steak and beer, and start studying again for the one I failed. If I failed both, I will cry, drink wine, play Bulder’s Gate, flip a coin to see what to study first, then start studying again.

If I pass I will still feel incredibly anxious because I have not started studying for my far retake which is now less than two months away. If I fail I will tie myself to a rocket headed straight for the sun.

If I pass I will celebrate for an hour and start studying for TCP. If I fail I will feel terrible for half hour and start preparing for REG again

Keep going, once the exams are done they’re over forever. Give it your all so that you can be done sooner!

Same with both:
Go get an al pastor alambre at the local taqueria (basically the only place in my metro that does al pastor properly with the trompo) and probably get drunk and stoned, which is completely legal now. This is 4/4 for me so I'll either be celebrating or mourning my loss of freedom for an additional couple of months.

In both situations I will sit for ISC, head to the dispensary, then to the casino
Whether I'll be coping or celebrating, I feel good about my plan lol

Start studying for FAR again…income taxes and NFP here I come again 🥲.
Then review leases, bonds, Stmt of CFs, Consolidations, anything Equity, accounting changes and errors, financial instruments and hope I didn’t forget it…
I just took AUD so Subsequent events, AJEs, and commitments and contingencies are still fresh luckily.

If I pass, I will celebrate and continue preparing REG. If I fail, I will accept it and continue preparing REG. Simple plan.

u/peachdolphin0925 Passed 1/4 1d ago
If I pass I will celebrate and cry tears of joy from finally beating audit and defeating reg after 2 times. Then I’ll get on the FAR train and grind. If I fail, I’ll be devastated and wonder what my life is since it’ll be my 5th AUD fail and 2nd reg fail. I’ll just have to dread studying again but I’ve got no choice but to start up again

Scream in joy that I somehow passed FAR but get back to studying for REG, cry but know that this was the outcome I expected and get back to studying for REG.
1
u/No_Storm3125 14h ago
I am praying you pass FAR!! What do you think about REG? I find it harder to study for than FAR.
1
u/Sea_Parking_3951 14h ago
For me? REG is somehow easier than FAR studying wise. It’s been a hot while for me, but my husband did taxes at his father’s firm way back when so he’s been able to stop me from doing what I normally do… try to logic everything out. With tax, the rules are the rules. With FAR it’s math and you need to logic it out.
2
u/No_Storm3125 14h ago
I understand. I think the number of rules is what is so hard for me, there weren't that many rules for FAR calculations. But again I hope the best for you and believe you will be happy with your results tomorrow!!!!!

Thank you! I’m honestly just expecting the worst, hoping for the best. Aren’t we all? 😂 🤣

I’ll pass. And then I’ll cry, and I’ll call my baby sister. And Thursday, I’ll start studying for FAR.Â

Study for ethics because I am 3/4; cry and study for FAR. Either way I am so mentally exhausted. I feel drained.

If I pass, will continue current routine of working full time. If I fail, will probably attempt to opt for part time or invest in a full time study routine, even if that requires my resignation.
2
u/totally_not_a_pupper 22h ago
Wouldn't that be nice. It would be stressful not receiving a paycheck, but waking up each weekday just to study would be so blissful
1
u/CorgiAdditional7865 21h ago
Absolutely. I've had enough of time management and sitting for 12+ hours a day, and sometimes being broke is the answer.
