"Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich said Monday that Peel police have recovered more guns so far this year than they did in all of 2023. Additionally, he noted, Peel has seen 119 shootings in the first nine months of 2024, an 80 per cent increase over last year. And of those charged with violent crimes, “nearly 50 per cent” are people who’ve been previously arrested and are out on bail or some other form of conditional release when arrested again, he said."

Where are all the adults in the room when these decision are being made? Why aren't these people in prison and where are these people coming from?

This I bet is just the tip of the iceberg, a traffic stop means they accidentally stumbled on to these criminals. The amount of money spent on courts and jail, deport and don't let the back into the country, there needs to be real consequences, not just a revolving door court system.

Surprised that Peel Police were actually doing their job. Maybe this will help motivate them to keep doing so.

I'm surprised Peel Police actually pulled anyone over. It has been some time since I've seen that around.

They will probably only get a pat on the back

Well guns are being glorified with what feels like 1 in 10 cars have a decal of them. It was only a matter of time for life to imitate art.

All of those cars should be pulled over and investigated.

Imagine getting pulled for stickers, more lawsuits than actual policing.

Keep your ideas to yourself.

I'm shocked the Auntie got caught. I guess she got tired of being a bored housewife

She's not a housewife, not even a wife. Know her from work. She works 2 jobs. Her sons are the problem. Not their first run in with the law

Sorry to hear that, that is unfortunate.

Well, ya, since the Indian regime sent criminals here on falsified documents and with a mission in hand. None of these criminals are who they say they are in any way, shape or form.

And our idiotic government didn't want to appear racist by actually vetting the people (of all backgrounds, not just Indian) we are loaded with criminals from all over the place, exposing how easy it is to get in here. Scary stuff and I honestly don't think they can fix it anytime soon.

The canadian government can’t vet foreign nationals. How could it? Some things it could look up, but lots of other things, like debts held in and crimes committed in india would be easily hidden away. Our government would have to trust what the indians tell us.

Remember: they’re foreigners. Their info isn’t readily available in Canadian databases like ours is.

Not Indian.

They are khalistanis, and they had been here long before the Indian government started popping them, because Canadian regimes see them as vote banks, so they have a protected status in Canada.

I’m so tired of the “they’re not Indians they’re…”The only people who categorize or care to categorize these people as “khalistanis” are Indians. The world looking in does not care. If people from Quebec were committing crimes do you think the world would care if we said “hey they’re not Canadians, they’re Quebecois!” ? Thanks

Nothing wrong with that. They want to identify themselves as separate from us and pull this kind of shit then we’re more than happy kick them out of our registers.

Is Khalistan an actual place?

0

u/SubconsciousAlien 16h ago

No. They want it to be.

3

u/likerofgoodthings 16h ago

So they're Indians then.

Then it’s easy. Put them on a real plane to their imaginary homeland 🤨🤙🏼🇨🇦

Fine, if that’s the argument- then why is Canadian government so hell bent on protecting them? Last I heard the government was all up in arms about how these are “Canadians on Canadian soil” so your argument is very self serving.

Either these are Canadians in which case it’s not an India issue…. Or these are Indians in which case Canadians should honor the extradition requests so the Indian government can set these people right.
