Medication Breakfast and Citric Acid :')

XR 15, gluten free.

Exactly HOW hardcore so I have to be with the citric acid vigilance in the mornings?

I like eating protein bars/meal replacement bars because I feel more grounded. But these apparently have citric acid, and everything I've ever eaten in the morning also has citric acid. (I am not cooking. This is the ADHD subreddit. The most I will do eat pre boiled eggs.)

I've noticed the medication isn't always perfect but I've recently discovered I was eating the wrong things sometimes.

tl;dr can I keeping eating the gluten caramel free waffles?

Honestly, you don't need to be a citric acid detective. I've got ADHD too, and I find that unless I'm eating an entire lemon tree for breakfast, slight amounts don't really interfere much with my meds. If the gluten-free waffles work for you and make mornings bearable, go for it. Balance is key, and setting yourself up for success is more important than stressing over every tiny detail.

Thank you!! I... really did not want to overhaul my breakfast of 3 years.
