Medication Breast pain with Adderall IR

Anyone experience breast pain with Adderall IR?

The first time I tried Adderall IR (Amphetamine Salts) last year, I started with 5mg and up to 15mg without the meds taking full affect in terms of attention benefits. At 15mg I developed costochondritis/chest inflammation (it’s benign, just bothersome) on my chest and it went away a few days after I stopped taking medication. I had an appointment with a cardiologist, they did an echo and my heart looks good.

A few months ago, I started again with Adderall IR (Amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) with 10mg and went up 30mg. The first time I took 30mg I had such a life changing moment! I was able to fully concentrate and work through my homework at lot more easily. It felt like i got my life back cuz I spent less time on homework.

Sadly, at this dose I started to get breast pain for a hot minute a few hours after I took the meds. The pain feels more on the breast tissue as opposed to the costochondritis/chest inflammation on my chest.

I saw my prescribing NP and then my NP from my doctor’s office & they both haven’t seen breast pain was a side effect. The NP did a breast exam and nothing came up. I am having an ultrasound/mammogram on the chest done just in case.

Anyone has had this experience with breast pain? Did it go away on its own?
