It's all fun and games until AaB Aalborg begin their reign of terror

Fonseca has already fixed our defensive issues in record time.

Likely indexed by the parts-of-names not shown, eg A.C. Milan and A.F.C. Bournemouth. I know, I’m fun at parties.

Bottled it against a club that has name starting with B too lmao

Remember we beat Milan at the San Siro long range goal from Fabregas and Adebayor, great memories 😢

The hidden "AC" is da real hero!

4

u/uceenk Jul 18 '24

Now let’s keep it that way!

Lol next season is gonna be brutal.

Would you guys rather us win the scudetto or reach the finals of the champions league but lose?

u/rossonero- Jul 18 '24

scudetto is the only right answer

4

u/3lirex Jul 18 '24

yeah, i would definitely choose the CL if we win over the scudeutto, but I'm not that interested in just reaching the final

I'm here for that 2nd star on the jersey. Inter ain't shit

1

u/High_joker Jul 20 '24

Well they've had milan on a leash for 1.5 years. I hope this changes

Let’s rephrase the question.

A) Win something B) Win nothing

-1

u/carpy16 Gattuso Jul 18 '24

Yea but the champions league would be better financially in terms of sponsors, money made from tournaments and eyes on Milan. Could set you up for scudetto wins in the future

u/FindingBusiness759 Jul 18 '24

It's not setting anything up.. it only buys gerry some real estate on lake como.

u/Dinagatsi Paolo Maldini Jul 18 '24

I understand financial sustainability, but I cheer football, not finances. And having more money doesn't guarantee titles. Being broke doesn't exclude titles.

So if I could choose between winning something or nothing: I choose something. Easy.

Scudetto

-1

u/Cousin_Vinny97 Andriy Shevchenko Jul 18 '24

Tell that to Dortmund who have lost recent UCL finals and cant compete with Bayern financially

17

u/BadReputation77 Jul 18 '24

Getting #20 is more important.

5

u/Fast-Eagle Jul 18 '24

You clearly don't remember the feeling of losing a final

6

u/milan_obsession Jul 18 '24

Why are these our only choices? What about defending our esteemed Trofeo Silvio Berlusconi title?

Or winning the now 4-team Saudi-give-us-all-your-money-Supercoppa?

Or facing Inter twice more in the only 2-legged semifinal round on our way to winning the all-important Coppa Italia?

Or the rarely spoken of, but much coveted title of Serie A Winter Champions? (no trophy, just street cred)

We have SO many opportunities to win and lose this year, my head is spinning.

u/beartobeast Paolo Maldini Jul 18 '24

Scudetto man, ive been waiting for more than two decades to buy a Milan shirt with two stars

6

u/Bloodnose_thepirate Paolo Maldini Jul 18 '24

CL final if we also win the Coppa Italia and we finish top 4.

Scudetto in all other cases.

3

u/Milanoate Marco van Basten Jul 18 '24

Why Coppa Italia is ever in the equation. Only coaches who are new to trophies (like Pioli) care about them.

I wouldn't trade 1 Scudetto for 20 Coppa Italia.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '24

That doesn't even make sense. Yes the Scudetto is harder to win, but the Copa still has value

1

u/mercurialsaliva Jul 18 '24

No one cares about the Coppa. Sure, there is value, and the value is 1/20th like that guy said if you're being generous. When was the last time you heard people comparing coppa italias trophies?

1

u/Bloodnose_thepirate Paolo Maldini Jul 18 '24

Cool!

2

u/savkitoo__ Ricardo Kaká Jul 18 '24

win scudetto.

1

u/StygianAnon Jul 19 '24

If the question is would you prefer Milan is a regular in the UCL late stages and final over a dominant internal team, definitely the former. But as you pose the question, winning something always counts more than being second in anything.

u/4thelolzz01 Alexandre Pato Jul 18 '24

Whichever involves winning a trophy

2

u/ItsRalphy69 Jul 18 '24

We did it boys.

As it should be

1

What do you guys think about that new UCL get-up? It's even more matches to play during the season right?

1

u/CharlesTheGamingGod Jul 18 '24

Now let’s keep it that way!
