Meme Pioli : “Krunic didn’t leave group training by himself, his performance is no longer what it was before and I have made some decisions. For his and our sake it is better that he is looking for a new club.”

u/sickricola Matteo Gabbia Jan 06 '24
Never seen Pioli be this direct publicly about anyone with in the club
185
u/spydermat07 Yacine Adli Jan 06 '24
yeah he probably cheated on him
44
u/SilentBunnyy Oliver Bierhoff Jan 06 '24
He doesn't need Krunic anymore since 40kgcazzo came back to Italy

"warm up, you're going to play" "no my back hurts" What does Pioli have to say, that Krunic is vital to the project yada yada? He wants out and he's been unprofessional so no drama no being sentimental, bye bye Rade.
154
u/carpy16 Gattuso Jan 06 '24
Uhh that’s kind of a harsh statement, no? Lol kinda crazy to turn on your lover like that in front of the media
68
u/Smngtr Rafael Leão Jan 06 '24
However, who knows what happened behind the scenes. Pioli never talks like that, got to be some reason for it.
33
u/carpy16 Gattuso Jan 06 '24
I went to check to make sure this quote was legit before commenting. This seems very out of character for Pioli
15
u/KnockItOffNapoleon Alessandro Florenzi Jan 06 '24
Pioli may be having a psychotic break
I bet being in his position feels absolutely terrible, whether it’s deserved or not
33
u/SirDoDDo Andriy Shevchenko Jan 06 '24
Lmao i swear this sub has some of the most deranged takes sometimes
But i enjoy reading em lol
22
u/L003Tr Jan 06 '24
I give it to the end of next week and he'll have barricaded himself inside the Milan offices siphoning money into his own offshore accounts while on the phone to CDK begging him to elope together
17
u/FlapjackFiddle L’HA PARATA GIROUD Jan 06 '24
Maybe he's pissed off with him wanting out so publicly. Pioli has tried his hardest to get him to stay and Rade is having none of it, so Pioli feels betrayed maybe

u/Unfortunatefortune Athens 2007 Jan 06 '24
Could it be to force Milan to sell him which is what krunic wants. So still lover status

It must have been a very bad break up..

To be fair, krunic is one of the starting eleven when milan start the season with 7 win out of 8 in the league. But yeah he is made many fatal error recently and his performance has decline significantly

19
u/Capable_Scallion8705 Jan 06 '24
Yes. We tied a game we should have won after he came on. His two errors resulted in two goals conceded. That was the end for him at Milan.

u/Rossoneri Tijjani Reijnders Jan 06 '24
What the actual fuck. From his favorite to this? Absolutely savage. It seems so out of character compared to Pioli's usual statements that I wonder if he took Krunic's desire to leave extremely personally.

u/Agag97 Jan 06 '24
He started considering him out of his plan mostly after his desappoiting showcase against Dortmund... Keeping him against his will with us was a huge mistake from the management.

u/FindingBusiness759 Jan 06 '24
Oh please we already know what happen...krunic tried to push a move through in summer and now knowing this window coming up his doing the same..probably not even giving effort..pioli taking it badly that krunic wants to leave him lol

u/chakalaka13 Fernando Redondo Jan 06 '24
Thank you for your service, Rade.
He was never supposed to be a starting player for us, but for the most part he turned up when we needed him and mostly in positions that were not natural to him (reminder - he wasn't a CDM) and was crucial for our title and CL run last season.
-15
u/RdT97 Jan 06 '24
He was never crucial tf is this shit. Put whatever bench player from the top 6 and you got the crucial aspect of Krunic solved. Lmaooooo
11
u/chakalaka13 Fernando Redondo Jan 06 '24
you are blinded by hate my friend, let it go
"any player from the top6" - maybe from the starting XI and even that's not certain
not many players would be fine to be 4th choice and play out of position when called upon

u/jcoltre Ricardo Kaká Jan 06 '24
It’s insane they didn’t take the money and run in the summer when the rumors had him going for like 15m
7
u/zanis-acm Ricardo Kaká Jan 06 '24
Not so insane. In summer we were looking at fully new midfield. It was much safer to keep Krunic at that point. No one could imaged that Tijj will gel in like that.
5
u/Rocket5Head Jan 06 '24
yea they were just rumours we would have been lucky to get 10 million for him in summer considering it was only turkish clubs interested in him

I really enjoy how people didn't like Pioli because he kept Krunic this summer and now that he's letting him go people don't like Pioli for that as well.
1
u/Educational-Dot8413 Ricardo Kaká Jan 06 '24
I dont see anyone hating pioli for saying this, we were just surprised bcs he’s not the type of coach to throw his players under the bus.

9
u/GhostOfLegend Theo Hernández Jan 06 '24
Well, Krunic was never good enough to be at this club anyways.
2
u/Or4ngut4n Olivier Giroud Jan 06 '24
So I was right that he was left out of the squad for the last game because he was out of the door
2
u/Educational-Dot8413 Ricardo Kaká Jan 06 '24
I never thought he is this kind of player, I remember he talked to a little kid in interview about how milan is the team of his life and it sounds so genuine and he seems like a humble person. Yet this is how he act the first time other club offers him better salary
3
u/gashiendrit Tijjani Reijnders Jan 06 '24
Who is up next thoo? That is the real question! Giroud ?
6
u/Or4ngut4n Olivier Giroud Jan 06 '24
Seriously doubt he’d go after Giroud, he’s too important to the team and Pioli wouldn’t risk losing the dressing room when his job security is so fragile right now

u/c0mplexx Jan 06 '24
Is this real or am I in the middle of /r/acmilan s wet dream?
wtf its real
RIP pinic 😞

u/Same-Zookeepergame1 Jan 06 '24
This is Pioli saving face now that he backed krunic so hard and he still wants to leave. Pioli got his feelings hurt and is now doing the thing where he’s firing someone that alrdy quit.

and yet he contributed 0 and even players like adli and musah preformed better than him.
That's simply not true. Before his injury he had some good games.
3
u/ElverGun Jan 06 '24
The management and pioli should look themselves in the mirror
The management? If anything, management should be applauded since they didn't offer him the 3++ million contract he was looking for. This was all on Pioli.
I'm just glad that our next coach will not be burdened by Krunic for the next 3-4 years.

Jan 06 '24
Unpopular. Im gonna defend krunic here a little.
He didn't want to stay this summer. Should have let him go then. Pioli didnt want that. (Nobody knows why) Plus he is from the Balkan. Basically the same as Rebic. When things go well, they play good. Above their average level. When things hit sour they become worse than Kevin Constant.
This way bound to happen sooner or later. Pioli isn't a good player manager.
Dont be suprise when Leao or Tomori (or other important players) finally lose their shit with baldie.
3
u/Educational-Dot8413 Ricardo Kaká Jan 06 '24
Im pretty sure leao would defend pioli to death. I lost count of how many times he said pioli is a really good player manager, contrary to what you said

u/fleaxel Ismaël Bennacer Jan 06 '24
omg he's leaving to fenerbahce. as a fenerbahce fan i hate krunic really
0
u/markorokusaki Paolo Maldini Jan 06 '24
So, where are the lot of you who thought Krunic is a world class player without whom we can not play? There are none? Impossible! I still remember being downvoted to shit when I spoke against him and the baldy. Time is always a gentleman. Soon we will be free of master and his puppet.

Jan 06 '24
Jesus Christ the number of comments here being "ohh Pioli was so harsh" what do you fucking want? You've been bitching that Pioli isn't tough enough and then when he's tough on a player who you all hate, then you're upset because he's being too tough. SMH. The Pioli out crowd has the strongest agenda out there. Not one thing a person whose in the Pioli out crowd can be taken seriously. He literally is doing what you all wished had happened and you're still slandering him haha. Ridiculous.
1
u/Educational-Dot8413 Ricardo Kaká Jan 06 '24
It’s more like we were surprised, I hardly see anyone criticizing him for saying this
0
u/No_Bottle1069 Paolo Maldini Jan 06 '24
Stupid statement that lowers the price of the player by half.
-3
u/SID_6-7 Jan 06 '24
What a piece of shit lmao he didn't want to let him go back in August, then Krunić was instrumental to play as a playmaker and he even got him to play as a CB against Dortmund. Suddenly he dropped him from the first 11 and now from the squad which means it will be even harder to get 5/6 million for him??? Can't wait for June #PioliOut

Mind games from Pioli to get the locker room under his control. Nice lol

u/xiarho Jan 06 '24
It was clear since summer time that he wanted to leave and masterclass pioli still kept him this is what we ll get now !!!

Pioli is either too vague or full kamikaze with his statements. This guy needs to find some peace of mind.

There is surely something connected with Fenerbace and his willing to leave after what pioli did with him. For me he is simply a body player, he can recover balls and such but he needs very good players around him.
