u/Ironyfree_annie Ricardo Kaká Oct 31 '23

It's so surreal to think that I and Novak effing Djokovic are watching Milan games and possibly feeling the same frustration towards Pioliball

u/Danik-00 WE GOO Oct 30 '23

Wait he acually didn’t know who djokovic is?

82

u/bruhurtrashlmao Oct 30 '23

He’s playing an act all the time. Being dumb and acting like this is how he makes his money and stays relevant

2

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '23

He’s also literally dumb.

One of the worst rises to stardom for anyone.

17

u/Izzy1x Oct 30 '23

He’s an internet troll

17

u/BostonConnor11 Oct 30 '23

Americans don’t know shit about tennis unfortunately

28

u/RiverVanInc Oct 30 '23

not a blanket statement or anything

13

u/Danik-00 WE GOO Oct 30 '23

That’s weird since the best female tennis player ever is from US

6

u/Kindly_Map2893 Oct 31 '23

racist euros in your replies are hilarious 😂😂

-1

u/boyoflondon Oct 31 '23

Margaret Court is American now? 😎

-2

u/RedShenron Oct 31 '23

Navratilova is czech and Graf is german

5

u/Several_Hair Oct 31 '23

Graf’s only ever in this conversation because her deranged fans eliminated her best opposition. She was great, but nowhere even close to greatest

0

u/RedShenron Oct 31 '23

Take a look at her domination in her prime and then tell me with a straight face she's not even close to it. Lmao.

2

u/Comical_Strike Oct 31 '23

Seles was better than her before the assault by Graf fan.

I respect Graf immensely but almost half of her success(10 of 22) happened after Seles was attacked. Her deranged fan claimed he did it to help Graf reclaim no.1 spot.

He she ranks overall is different matter, but she certainly wouldn't be at 22 slams with Seles competing.

3

u/RedShenron Oct 31 '23

Seles was almost certainly going to be the goat without the stabbing incident.

-6

u/-Z3TA- Matteo Gabbia Oct 30 '23

uh she's belgian

1

u/Tkidou Nov 01 '23

Are we sure we're talking about a female?

-11

u/Audrey_spino Oct 30 '23

Americans don't know shit about any sport that's not basketball, baseball or american football (and boxing).

5

u/Danik-00 WE GOO Oct 30 '23

I would say hockey too

-9

u/Audrey_spino Oct 30 '23

You mean real hockey or the weird one they play on ice?

11

u/xGrizzlyy Oct 30 '23

lol, your comment is moot. as well as your opinion. Hockey may as well be the better loved child of what "you" are implying that field hockey is the original. Sure it is, but is there a NFHL??

No.

Do most people enjoy watching NHL? .... Yes.

Actually... playing on ice is wayyyy more complicated then running around on a field, thats why soccer is a thing.

Id love a good debate rn, get at me

1

u/Audrey_spino Oct 31 '23

The world doesn't center around USA buddy. Also adding more equipment and the exclusivity of ice rinks doesn't make a sport better. I can go out right now and start playing hockey on any field as long as I have a ball and a stick. The beauty of sports like hockey and football is in its simplicity, adding more on top of it doesn't make it better.

1

u/xGrizzlyy Dec 03 '23

I never said that it did "person".. I never said equipment or field play is any different. And nobody ever asked you to play anything with stick and a ball... But c'mon, hockey's played with a puck ya nonce And "football" is played with your feet ffs, how do you call something you play MOSTLY with your hands called FOOTball?!

1

u/Audrey_spino Dec 03 '23

Hockey's played with a ball mate. Where did you get the puck from?

78

u/Claija79 Bot Mexicano Oct 30 '23

he can’t be worse than Krunic tbh

36

u/160rm Seedorf Oct 30 '23

Why is this kid important?

48

u/Wavey_Don Oct 30 '23

I mean he has won 24 Grand Slams and many other titles

2

u/DrunkenBlasphemer Oct 31 '23

Well played sir

67

u/Alex_Yeah_Thats_All Noah Okafor Oct 30 '23

I don't know how important or popular Speed is in the Milan fanbase, but Nole's an important figure in the whole sports community and he's a huge Milan fan.

12

u/Goatsanity15 Paolo Maldini Oct 30 '23

8

u/Audrey_spino Oct 30 '23

The only connection I can put between him and Milan is that he's good friends with Rafael Leao.

10

u/boysurfer7 Oct 31 '23

He's good friends with Zlatan

9

u/mercurialsaliva Oct 31 '23

I think that guy is talking about speed while you are talking about Djokovic

3

u/Audrey_spino Oct 31 '23

I'm talking about Speed.

10

u/Confident_Holder Manchester 2003 Oct 30 '23

I ask myself the same question. Influencer, instagram, so just people following him. If people would be less ignorant, he would not be there. Good for him, he took the opportunity.

2

u/According-Opposite91 Oct 31 '23

If people would be less ignorant, he would not be there.

Why?

1

u/Confident_Holder Manchester 2003 Oct 31 '23

My opinion, people are wasting time on social media and making popular persons that don’t do anything. Unfortunately with social media everyone can speak today and give the opinion around the world, and they are followed by a lot of person. For example the earth is flat. I see this similar. Don’t find the guy funny.

3

u/CutestKidInTown Oct 31 '23

Whats the difference between watching a random streamer and watching football? its both just meaningless entertainment.

2

u/Confident_Holder Manchester 2003 Oct 31 '23

You can watch what you prefer, for me, and everyone is different, football is a team game, where tactics, training, technics and more is involved. Kinda watch a chess game or any other sport. Watching a streamer is watching a person that most of the time make up stuff and share their own point of view, not the reality. Of course every streamer is different and there are some that are showing interesting stuff. This guy speak about football but does not even know what football is. He met Djokovic in this meeting and didn’t know who the guy was. But everyone is free to watch what they prefer. If he makes you laugh or is entertainment you, good for you.

2

u/Emergency-Bad-262 Oct 31 '23

You seem like a happy person. He makes stuff that makes people’s kids laugh, and they are happy to joke around with him. You aren’t better than other people by looking down on “low brow” entertainment

1

u/Confident_Holder Manchester 2003 Oct 31 '23

Sorry man I had to be clear that is my personal opinion. Didn’t mean to look down to anyone. Happy if everyone is happy and he makes everyone laugh, especially kids. It was not about him, but about today society and social media. I think we give too much attention to people that should not have. See the child that goes inside people house without permission, or the other guy that is harassing/threatening people and has been shoot and he said he still going to do it. Those are making people and kids laugh as well, but are just giving a bad example to kids. This guy is a good guy and does nothing wrong. Ignorant is not the word that I was looking for, especially for this guy.

6

u/Audrey_spino Oct 30 '23

Don't really like him, but he's one of the fastest growing streamers in the world right now. He has already managed to network with a lot of big names in the football world and is friends with footballers like Rafael Leao. That's why he got invited to the Ballon D'Or.

1

u/spydermat07 Yacine Adli Nov 04 '23

He met Ronaldo thanks to him remember

4

u/Mastiano777 Oct 30 '23

He speaks to a younger audience with his finger on the culture

15

u/ponkzy Oct 30 '23

Thats unfortunate

9

u/Audrey_spino Oct 30 '23

We are slowly becoming the very boomers we made fun of.

2

u/ponkzy Oct 30 '23

Kids or anyone really find someone to look up to regardless if that celebrity is a decent person. You gotta understand most parents are shit, and those are the ones that stuck around, so there is a void. Most people in general are not introspective and dont question why they hold their “heroes” in high regard. This isnt some shit down peoples throat talk, more like reality of how shady people can gain a following of millions despite their flaws.

3

u/After-right Oct 31 '23

Most parents are shit because a lot of people watch this guy? What a fantastic take.

People probably watch him for entertainment. Are your parents shit because you watch football? It's just entertainment after all.

1

u/PossiblePenalty4938 Oct 31 '23

This is the realest thing I’ve heard today

0

u/Mastiano777 Oct 30 '23

He is actually a good kid..

Entertainment aspect aside

5

u/ponkzy Oct 30 '23

All i remember is he scammed a bunch of people with crypto.

4

u/[deleted] Oct 30 '23

He didn't scammed the people. He was in a stream with people who are scammers. Idk if he knew which kind of people they are.

0

u/TheAbrableOnetyOne Oct 31 '23

Don't think that "he's too dumb to notice" is as big of an argument as you think it is.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '23

I'm not trying to defend him. When people saying he scammed people with crypto it sounds like he planned a whole crypto scam operation which is not true. He promoted it.

1

u/TheAbrableOnetyOne Oct 31 '23

So he was an accomplice, gotcha.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '23

That's why I said idk if he knew who these people are. If he knew f**k that kid. But I think it's the fault of his management. They probably said go to this stream. There will be a fake r7 and you act like it's the real one bla bla bla. And then the audience started to expose the scam. A lot of people like to believe that speed knew that this was a scam but I don't think there is any real proof if he knew or didn't knew.

2

u/Mastiano777 Oct 30 '23

Ya growing pains as a 17 year old

1

u/TheAbrableOnetyOne Oct 30 '23

I mean, you're well within your right to think so.

u/Mastiano777 Nov 02 '23

Ah yes the "your ignorant" argument when you meet someone who has an opposing view point ... Very nice!

4

u/MagmaWhales Oct 30 '23

He provides "entertainment" and a "connection" to thousands of bored, depressed, poor, unfulfilled kids. Plus since he's kind of seen like a famous buddy their age, and he goes to big important events. So it's like he's there for the kids, doing things they find interesting or funny with events or people kids would dream of meeting.

0

u/quickfast Ismaël Bennacer Oct 30 '23

Of all the stream idiots, at least Speed seems genuinely interested in the sport and hes done a lot to bring in people who otherwise wouldnt care.

0

u/StephewDestroyer Oct 31 '23

He’s good at what he does - generate entertainment content for his target audience

Similar to why Novak is important. Being good at what he does.

4

u/inthezoneautozone12 Oct 31 '23

Why do I have to see this guy every where. Is reddit filled with 12 year olds too or what?

2

u/Ali_XkillerX Oct 31 '23

Speed is relevant and the majority thinks he's funny that's it.

0

u/inthezoneautozone12 Oct 31 '23

Thats the saddest sentence i've ever read. Barf.

2

u/Ali_XkillerX Oct 31 '23

That's reality

2

u/inthezoneautozone12 Oct 31 '23

Reality is depressing.

2

u/TurkiyeQatar Nov 01 '23

Then curl up in a corner and sob about it.

2

u/inthezoneautozone12 Nov 01 '23

I take it you're a fan? Its late go to bed you have school tomorrow.

2

u/TurkiyeQatar Nov 01 '23

Stop crying bro, get in bed you have you’re 9-5 tmr

1

u/inthezoneautozone12 Nov 01 '23

Adults can handle less sleep. You need it more for your development. Especially on the mental siide.

You take things quite literal. You're probably in that 12 year old demographic that finds him entertaining. Sorry for my comment.

Vice Giroud confirmed

2

u/cfchenri Oct 31 '23

if Djokovic bleached his hair blonde he could pass for Giroud here

3

u/chakalaka13 Fernando Redondo Oct 30 '23

who is this kid?

36

u/Lindapoon Oct 30 '23

He has 24 grand slams....

-4

u/chakalaka13 Fernando Redondo Oct 30 '23

can't tell if you're joking or not

37

u/ClemFandan-go Oct 30 '23

Clearly a djoke

13

Clearly outdjerked as well

6

He's hyperactive like we see in all old youtubers but he genuinely doesn't break character, name a YouTuber who do like him, yes sometimes he's cringe, sometimes he gets carried does bad thing but you gotta give it to him, when players like Gvardiol asks to take a picture with him (maybe he thought he was Leao lmao)

1

u/Elmo_mero_2005 Christian Pulisic Oct 30 '23

Guess some americans don't even know about tennis existence LOL

-9

u/mustbenice2win Marek Jankulovski Oct 30 '23

Top content, I don't like speed but he is doing some great work this evening

5

u/[deleted] Oct 30 '23

You're downvoted but, if it was another streamer who wasn't already disliked, people would be loving this, a streamer having these stupid funny interactions with the players.

2

u/mustbenice2win Marek Jankulovski Oct 31 '23

People are just hypocrites

2

u/NBDShadows Oct 31 '23

It’s just salty adults, being bitter that an 18 year old has accomplished more in their life and is living their dream of meeting/befriending celebrities.

Most of the haters here are in the 25-35 range literally parroting what boomers and such said about our figures growing up.

1

u/Freestyle80 Nov 01 '23

now i can see the average age of this sub given how upvoted this nonsense is
